In The News
Jennifer Casey is the Managing Partner and sole owner of Kolko & Casey, P.C., where she dedicates her legal expertise to U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Law. With a proven track record of success, Jennifer has guided clients across industries—including education, hospitality, and technology—through the complexities of employment-based visas and lawful permanent residency (green card) processes. She also maintains a robust family-based immigration and naturalization practice, helping individuals and families navigate the path to U.S. citizenship.
A Denver native, Jennifer graduated from Denver South High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2000. Before pursuing a legal career, Jennifer taught fourth grade in a bilingual classroom with Denver Public Schools, where she worked closely with immigrant families. These experiences sparked her passion for immigration law and inspired her to attend the University of California, San Francisco (UC College of the Law), where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2006.
During law school, Jennifer honed her skills as a judicial extern at the U.S. Immigration Court in San Francisco and as an intern with the Center for Gender and Refugee Studies (CGRS). Upon graduating, she practiced immigration law with prominent attorneys in the Boston area before returning to Denver in 2010 to raise her family near the Rocky Mountains.
Jennifer joined Kolko & Associates, P.C., in 2010 as an Associate Attorney, was promoted to Senior Associate in 2014, and became a named Partner in 2016. In 2019, she became a co-owner of Kolko & Casey, P.C., and in 2022, she assumed the role of Managing Partner. With David Kolko’s retirement in 2023, Jennifer became the sole owner of the firm.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has successfully represented clients in hundreds of cases before U.S. Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the U.S. Department of Labor, the USCIS Administrative Appeals Office (AAO), and the U.S. State Department.
Outside of her legal practice, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, hiking, skiing, swimming, and traveling. Her dedication to her clients and her community embodies her passion for helping individuals and businesses thrive in the United States.
