Biography
Angela Cifor is a Partner at Kolko & Casey, P.C. where she specializes in United States immigration law.
Angela’s practice is primarily focused on family-based immigration, removal defense, humanitarian benefits, and related litigation. Angela worked at Kolko & Casey, P.C. as an Associate and Senior Associate Attorney from 2016 to 2020, and is excited to rejoin Kolko & Casey, P.C. in 2024 as a Partner.
Angela has exclusively practiced immigration law since 2013 and has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) for more than a decade. She has actively volunteered with her local chapter, AILA Colorado, by serving as chair of the ICE and Asylum Liaison Committees. She remains a member of AILA Colorado’s ICE Liaison Committee, and currently serves on the Legislative Advocacy and Wellness Committees as well.
Angela is a mentor on the Pro Bono Mentoring Panel at the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN), where she supports private attorneys who provide pro bono representation to asylum-seekers and unaccompanied children. She also serves as a board member of La Cocina, a nonprofit organization that provides health equity support services, and as the AILA Colorado Board Representative for the Colorado Lawyers Committee.
Angela grew up in Manchester, Vermont. She graduated magna cum laude from Lehigh University and obtained her law degree from the University of Colorado Law School.
Angela also speaks fluent Spanish and is happy to assist clients in this language.
In her time away from the office, Angela likes to hike, bike, and ski in the mountains with her husband and dogs.
