Tina M. Martinez
Office Manager and Administrator

Tina Martinez is the Office Manager and Administrator at Kolko & Casey, P.C.  Tina oversees all aspects of the Firm’s business administration and management.  She also supervises and manages removal litigation matters, family-based immigration cases, non-immigrant visas, and naturalization cases.  Tina has worked with Mr. Kolko for more than 18 years and plays an important role  ensuring the smooth running of the firm’s operations. 

Tina has a Paralegal Certificate from the University of Colorado at Denver, and more than 31 years of professional experience as a paralegal, professional legal secretary and administrator at law firms, including those involved with immigration, personal injury, insurance defense, workers’ compensation, criminal law, family law, bankruptcy, and real estate. 

Tina has been a member of the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association since 1985. 

In addition to her dedicated professional work, she has personal interests in Native American Culture, children’s rights, health and exercise, and enjoying the outdoors of Colorado. She is also devoted to her family.  Tina has one adult son and two beautiful granddaughters.  Tina is a devoted parent raising two young nieces, while being the proud godmother to 16 children.

 

 

Margaret Mountain
Senior Paralegal

Margaret

Margaret Mountain is a Senior Paralegal at Kolko & Casey, P.C., where she specializes in various complex immigration cases including EB-1 Petitions (extraordinary aliens & athletes), Appeals and Motions.   She has been a valuable member of the firm’s professional staff since 2005.

Margaret earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from Metro State University in 1980 and her Master of Arts Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Northern Colorado in 1990. 

Margaret is a certified mediator and has a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from the Denver Paralegal Institute.  Margaret brings a broad range of professional legal experience to her work at Kolko & Casey, P.C. as she has worked in a variety of legal settings, including the District Attorney’s Office, and in law firms practicing criminal defense, civil litigation, family law, and plaintiff’s personal injury law.

In the 1990’s, Margaret was the legislative aide to the Colorado House Minority Leader, where she encountered the realities and roadblocks of passing legislation.  Margaret has two grown children and has the experience of being a small business owner. 

 

Gicela Paccione
Administrative Specialist

Gicela Paccione is an Administrative Specialist whose concentration is in finance and administration. Since joining Kolko & Casey, P.C. in 2012, Gicela has specialized in accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reports, banking and billable hours. She also assists in professional translations and interpretations as well as any other special projects within the Firm.

Prior to joining the Firm, Gicela worked at an international relocation company as a Global Specialist focusing on the worldwide relocations for Fortune 500 clients. 

From 2003 to 2010, Gicela held a prominent position at the Mexican Consulate in Denver. Her position required firsthand experience in immigration and legal matters for Mexican citizens currently residing in the state of Colorado and Wyoming. She provided assistance in various aspects of identity documentation such as Passports, Consular Identification Cards, and Birth Certificates. 

Gicela is a native of Mexico and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She moved to Denver in 2002 and is a proud citizen of the United States. She enjoys physical fitness, being a part of her church choir, and has a strong dedication to her family and community.

 

 

Hye Jun Yoon
Case Manager

Hye Jun Yoon is a Senior Paralegal at Kolko & Casey, P.C., where she currently specializes in employment-based residency, non-immigrant investor visas, religious workers and special immigrant petitions.   She has also gained experience in the field of family-based immigrant cases and she regularly assists the Firm with the needs of all our Korean-speaking clientele.

Hye Jun is a skilled bilingual communicator, and has been one of the firm’s Korean Translators since 2005.  She participates in many client meetings with the attorney and carefully guides the communications between English & Korean.  Her duties have included interpreting at immigration interviews and at the Immigration Court, as well as supervising the firm’s document translation services.   She has also assisted with translating at legal seminars before several Korean Civic Associations.

Hye Jun is a proud 2009 graduate of the University of Colorado, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  She is a member of the Public Accountants Society of Colorado.   She is also involved with many outdoor activities, her family and the community. 

     

Leanne (Gun Jeung) Grealy  
Senior Paralegal and Korean Translator

Leanne Grealy (formerly Gun Jeung Lee) joined Kolko & Casey, P.C. in 2015.

Leanne is an experienced Korean and English bilingual translator and interpreter. Prior to joining our team, she had the dual role of an ESL teacher and liaison in between English speaking staff and Korean speaking staff at various private schools in South Korea.

Leanne was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. In 2004, she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics from the Ohio State University.

In her free time, Leanne enjoys reading, playing music, knitting and spending time with her family.

 

Gabriela Perez

Gabriela Perez is a Paralegal with Kolko & Casey, P.C. Gabriela began working with our office in 2013 as a law clerk and office assistant, and has been a valuable member of our team since that time. In 2020, Gabriela was promoted to Paralegal with our team.

A Colorado native, Gabriela attended Community College of Denver and graduated in 2015 with an Associates of Science Degree in criminal justice.

Gabriela is bilingual in Spanish and English. In her free time, Gabriela enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and enjoying concerts.

 

Alejandra Ramirez

Alejandra Ramirez joined Kolko & Casey, P.C. in 2017.

Alejandra attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Integrative Physiology and Psychology. Alejandra has worked as an immigration paralegal since 2015, where she has become experienced in family based cases, waivers, criminal defense and removal proceedings.

Alejandra was born in Los Angeles, California and is a daughter of immigrants. She has always had a passion for immigration and helping others. She enjoys giving back to the community and has been a volunteer at Denver Health, since 2006.

In her free time, she enjoys yoga, crossfit, traveling and spending time with her family.

 

 

Ariadna Sanroma
Paralegal

Ariadna Sanroma joined Kolko & Casey, P.C in June of 2021 shortly after moving to Colorado from Wyoming, where she managed an immigration law firm she interned in during college. Ari graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a minor in Finance.

Ari was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain and lived in Shanghai, China prior to moving to the United States. She is trilingual in English, Catalan and Spanish and also speaks conversational French, Chinese and Italian. Ari is passionate about family immigration law and hopes to continue her immigration law career as an attorney someday.

In her free time, Ari enjoys traveling and hiking with her dog, Bleu, skiing and volunteering for the Snowy Range ski patrol.

 

Emily Jardon
Paralegal

Emily R. Jardon joined Kolko & Casey, P.C. in 2021.

A Colorado native, Emily graduated with honors from Colorado Christian University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance. After graduating, Emily moved to Toluca, Mexico for two years with her husband, where she learned about Mexican culture and how to speak Spanish. After witnessing firsthand how complex and emotional the immigration process can be, Emily developed a passion to help others through the process as well.

In her free time, Emily enjoys playing the piano, reading, and savoring as much local food as possible

Outside of the office, Erika enjoys taking trips throughout Colorado, planning adventures, photography, exploring her creativity, volunteering, and spending time with her dog, Cosita.

Erika

Erika Tamez is a Paralegal for Kolko & Casey, P.C., where she specializes in family-based immigration, waivers of inadmissibility, and naturalization.

Erika has more than five years of experience in immigration law and is bilingual in English and Spanish. She joined Kolko & Casey, P.C. in 2015 and is excited to be part of such a professional, hard-working team helping clients achieve their immigration goals in the United Sates.

Erika was born and raised in San Diego, California and relocated to Colorado from Texas with her family in 2014. After moving to Colorado, she immediately fell in love with the beautiful scenery, weather, and the friendly people.

In her free time, Erika likes to cook, bake, read a good book, and spend quality time with her family.

 

Tanelia Astorga
Senior Administrative Specialist

Tanelia Astorga joined Kolko & Casey, P.C. in February of 2018.
Born in Los Angeles, California and raised Durango, Mexico, Tanelia has lived in Colorado since 2001.

Tanelia is fluent in English and Spanish and enjoys helping and interacting with clients. Tanelia graduated from Jefferson High School in 2009 and is passionate about helping others. In 2017, Tanelia graduated from Metropolitan State University with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology and a minor in Spanish. Tanelia is also a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS).

In her free time, Tanelia enjoys reading and investigating more about her favorite novel, El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quixote De La Mancha. She also enjoys sports, spending time with friends and family, gardening, cooking, and connecting with people.

 

Heeyeon (Karen) Kim

Heeyeon “Karen” Kim joined Kolko & Casey, P.C. in the spring of 2018. Heeyeon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and English Literature from Seoul Women’s University. Heeyeon has had a passion for Korean-English instruction since her time at university.  She spent over 10 years teaching English in South Korea to all levels of students and professionals. 

Heeyeon discovered her passion for immigration law after going through the immigration process herself.  Heeyeon has traveled to Asia, Europe, and studied in Australia and met people of all cultures. Through these encounters she has learned how important it is support people from all backgrounds.

In 2014, Heeyeon immigrated from South Korea to Colorado.  Since then, she has grown to love running, snowboarding and backcountry hiking. She has also discovered a passion for baking and enjoys creating treats for family and friends.

   

 

 

 

 

Jocelyn Sillemon

Jocelyn Sillemon joined Kolko & Casey P.C. as a law clerk in October of 2018.

A Colorado native, Jocelyn attended Lakewood Senior High School and graduated in 2017. Since graduating, Jocelyn received her certification as a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMMA) from the National Health Career Association (NHA). She plans to attend Metropolitan State University to study immigration matters in the future.

In her free time, Jocelyn enjoys spending time with her family, hanging out with her dogs, and watching movies.
